My recovery diary
One month after the surgery, almost all the obstacles I encountered before have been resolved. Except that I still can't bite food, it's still difficult to open my mouth fully, and the feeling of my lower lip is still very dull, there are no other problems. For those who are considering surgery, this is a somewhat strenuous course of treatment. You may encounter general weakness, blocked nose, poor sleep quality, restricted eating, uncomfortable face, etc. You may encounter all kinds of troubles. I have asked myself several times why I am asking for trouble? But after the swelling in my face subsided, people around me said that it looked better. The painful month in the front was nothing compared to the rest of my life!

My recovery diary
After a whole week of having to drink only water and soup, I was finally able to eat. Although I thought so, it was actually not as good as I imagined. I couldn't bite anything. I experienced the hard work of the elderly in advance, but if I continued to drink water, I would definitely starve to death! So I asked my mother to help me cook "soft rice". I could only eat this kind of soft food for every meal. Before I recovered, I could only silently endure this period of eating soft rice.

My recovery diary
After discussing with my family, I accepted orthognathic surgery on the spot. After a year of correction, the day of surgery finally arrived. After changing into the designated clothes, I went into the operating room and lay down. I fell unconscious three seconds after the anesthesiologist told me to sleep.
There was only chaos when I woke up, and I can’t remember when I finally regained consciousness. On the day of surgery: It was really inconvenient to stay in the ward. I felt dizzy, felt like vomiting, wanted to go to the toilet but couldn't move, and had a stuffy nose, which made me sleep poorly.
One or two days after the operation: My face was as swollen as a pig’s head and I felt uncomfortable. I kept drooling and had a stuffy nose that made me sleep poorly. I could only drink water with a syringe. I needed 2000CC a day, but I really couldn’t use a syringe...
Three or four days after the operation: The swelling began to subside. At the same time, I evolved to the point where I could drink water from a cup, although it would flow out. My nose was clearer and I could sleep better, and my drooling also improved. Five, six, and seven days after the operation: The swelling has reduced significantly, I no longer drool, and the water no longer drips. The nasal congestion has also improved significantly. I can eat as long as the rubber band on the tooth is removed!!!
