Asian people naturally have wider and flatter face shapes. That’s why many Asians try to make their faces look slimmer and narrower. We combined three procedures to achieve this goal: reduction malar-plasty, reduction mandibulo-plasty (including chin contouring), and masseter muscle partial resection. All bone cutting was computer-guided as part of our routine to ensure accuracy and safety. We tried our best to preserve the natural appearance of the gonial angle (mandibular angle) and a well-defined jawline. The after photos show that the face appears more three-dimensional and elegant.
