Dr. Hsieh would suggest the same treatment plan for patients with concaved and manly facial profiles with normal occlusion. The underlining prerequisite was to maintain the normal occlusion function for the patient while the treatment plan rotated the jaw bone clockwise to shorten the face, pulled up the corner of the mouth while combined with V-line chin contouring and nose augmentation. The occlusion function remained perfectly normal (as was originally perfect). The patient’s now V-line face shape has a V-line sweet smile. Dr. Hsieh insists that facial treatments should always be Face-Oriented Treatment and not merely just Bite-Oriented Treatment.
