謝明吉醫師診斷這名患者屬於下顎後縮（二類型）並合併歪斜的情況。 他的上下顎都向右側傾斜。 從側面的照片可以清楚地看到他後縮的下顎。 謝明吉醫師為他制定了雙顎正顎手術的治療計畫，以拉直顎骨並且在下巴的部分加上Medpor人工骨下巴植入物改善下巴輪廓線條。 同時在正顎手術時也一併修飾了下顎骨角，以使兩側的下顎線條平滑且對稱。
