Case Description
Surgery Plan
Upper jaw procedure + lower jaw procedure + upper and lower osteotomy
This young lady has a good facial shape to begin working with but the upper and lower jaw protrusions had caused the muscles around the oral cavity unable to relax so her mouth became a reverse v shape. She looked cruel and her chin was deviated to the left-hand side. After thorough discussion and evaluation, it was decided to perform the procedures at the same time where they involved the push backward procedures for upper and lower jaws, the repositioning of the deviated chin, and the cheek bones and lower jaw edge osteotomy. The photo demonstrates the patient’s improved appearance after six months of the surgery. Notice how the lips have relaxed after the orthognathic procedures and look natural. Further, the muscles around the oral cavity have softer lines and contour with the correct alignment of the chin. The upper and lower osteotomy has achieved almost perfect and satisfying results.
