What procedures do I need?
簡介

Almost every day, Dr. Hsieh will be asked “What procedures do I need?” This is a difficult question. Ask one hundred doctors with the same question, and you might get two hundred answers. Like architects and designers, Dr. Hsieh believes every doctor “must” have a main idea at heart, and advice and treatments are given accordingly. However, such treatment philosophy should not be swayed by the industry’s latest opinion, or blindly follow the trends of the Japanese and Korean. After all, you are talking about a medical procedure! Another important factor is whether a feeling of trust is formed between you and your doctor during surgery consultation. It is equally important between the surgery itself and whether you feel the doctor’s care and passion. Besides the foundation of medical techniques, a beautiful face could only be created by a keen artistic eye towards “beauty”, in combination with careful plastic surgery, and a deep conversation between the inner and outer beauty.

We are capable of deciding the attractiveness of a face within 0.1 second. That is mainly because our eyes are able to quickly scan through a person’s profile, like sketching down their faces. We first recognize the “shape of the face” and then the facial features. As a result, a delicate face shape definitely overpowers the clean facial features. A balanced and delicate profile is “necessary” in creating a beautiful profile. The importance of our facial features actually comes in second.

For Dr. Hsieh, most people should choose procedures that will make you look “more balanced”, and one should not be “too obsessed” with these procedures. However, a more extensive procedure could be considered when a profile looks too far off from the normal standards. “A balanced and pleasing profile” could be considered as one of the important social etiquettes.
